A Blissful Sunday!

Sunday is a family day for most of us and also a perfect day to spend even just an hour to go to church to thank and praise our creator above, our Lord, for the guidance, blessings and all the goodness He has bestowed upon us.

Last Sunday, As for all Catholics there's something special to celebrate. It's a Feast day of Sto. Nino. I, with my mom and nephew had a mass celebrated at St. Pio Center at Libis. Beyond history Filipino and Hispanics Catholics continue to nurture a rich cultural folk devotion to the "Nino Jesus" (in Latin) or "Sto. Nino" (the devotional title preferred by Filipinos) because they testify the devotion to the Child Jesus is a powerful channel to obtain various material favors from the heaven. The Vatican has recognized this uniquness of devotion among Filipinos that it has issued an indult allowing Filipino Church to celebrate the third Sunday of January as a liturgical feast for the "Sto. Nino."

After the mass has ended, we headed to Outback immediately for our late lunch. It's another special thing for me because it's our "first" at Outback. I had this chance to taste the gastronomical meals at Outback using my GCs as a prize when I won in an Outback's previous contest. Here under are the pictures of the delicious and oh! so yummy meals we ordered!
